What is Ideas Academy?
Ideas Academy is a business set up to help create, nurture and develop brilliant ideas. My name is Matt Hodgins and I built a career in the events industry through devising and launching original concepts . My fascination in the creative process has led me to study the Neuroscience and Psychology behind innovation. My work and studies as a professional coach and behavioural change expert have also given me an insight into the obstacles which may block us realising our ambitions.

Ideas Academy is all about creating the best conditions for ideas to emerge and thrive. Whether you are struggling to overcome a creative block or you want to empower your team to collaborate and innovate, Ideas Academy can support you.
Individual & Team Coaching
Work with an experienced, ICF qualified coach, who will partner with you on a programme of virtual or face-to-face sessions. Governed by the ICF code of ethics, these sessions will provide a safe and professional space to explore your goals. If you are struggling to generate ideas or have anxieties around presenting and pitching, coaching can help you to make tangible progress.
Ideas Academy now also offer Team Coaching programmes which bring together analytics, 1-2-1 coaching and team sessions staged in person or online. We create a programme in partnership with you to support your team in creating shared values, purpose and direction.
Team workshops
Do you want to generate more ideas within your own team, do you want to encourage creativity and collaboration? Our workshops will demonstrate how high functioning teams create the best conditions to allow ideas to flourish and the neuroscience behind the process. This is a highly practical session with all team members empowered to contribute positively towards ideas to drive your business.
Research & Development
A great idea is the first part of process. Ideas Academy R&D offer an external support to your innovation, conducting market appraisals, quantitative research and interviews with partners, stakeholders and potential investors. This research process is a key stage in developing original concepts and ensuring they are ready for market.
